Darcia Murrish is a retired Early Childhood Education teacher and a longtime volunteer for several of our local rescues. She lives in Overland Park with her husband and their rescued pets.  

Darcia started as a rescue volunteer by doing transports, but going on outreach to provide food, shelter, and education about pets’ basic needs, especially vaccinations and spay/neuter, is right at the top of her list of volunteer roles. She believes outreach is essential to help pets in need while also helping the communities where we all live.
