Ana Nubia Duin
Born in Hidalgo, Mexico, Ana Duin made a transformative move to the United States in 1988. After completing high school at Sylmar High School, Ana ventured into the world of radio in Arkansas, starting as a receptionist and ascending to roles like traffic manager, program director, and sales manager for La Zeta Spanish radio network. In 1999, Ana relocated to Kansas City, where they pioneered the first 24-hour Spanish radio station, La Zeta, holding key positions as sales and traffic manager. That is where she met her husband of 22 years. They have 3 daughters Dominique, Yvanna and Yvanka. Transitioning into entrepreneurship, Ana owned a successful residential and commercial cleaning company from 2006 to 2016. In July 2015, Ana joined OPUS Media Group LLC as Sales Manager, eventually becoming the majority owner. In this role, she was overseeing the sales department, while her husband, Yvan Duin, managed the production and music department. La Mega KC Spanish Radio, under their leadership, serves as a vital information hub for the Latino Community. Beyond their professional achievements, Ana actively contributes to the community, serving on the boards of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Zoo, Mision Despegue and The Toolbox KC. Ana is a big advocate for the Welfare of animals and that is the reason they have 3 Dobermans, 1 chihuahua, 3 cats and 4 horses. All of them are rescues. And also has a big heart and likes to help people in need and number one reason she’s so passionate about the work they do with La Mega KC.
